Alhaja

Rooted in Spain, Alhaja looks to the Mediterranean, ancient cultures and the stories carried through them. Its jewellery takes the form of modern amulets, combining symbolic details with Spanish craftsmanship. Working with Spanish producers that are members of the Responsible Jewellery Council, Alhaja also places emphasis on traceability and the responsible use and recycling of precious materials.

Items

Inspired by ancient amulets, personal memories and the jewellery passed down through generations, Alhaja’s pendants are made to feel personal. Look for symbolic details, natural stones, pearls and charms designed to be worn close and kept for years.

From delicate everyday pieces to sculptural statement shapes, Alhaja’s earrings draw on Mediterranean forms, nature and ancient symbolism. Made in Spain from sterling silver or 18k gold-plated materials, each pair feels like a small treasure with a story behind it.

Organic shapes, sculptural details and subtle symbolism come together in Alhaja’s rings. Designed to sit beautifully on their own or layered together, each piece is made as a timeless object rather than a passing trend.

Inspired by Mediterranean summers and jewellery collected along the way, Alhaja’s bracelets bring a sense of quiet character to everyday dressing. From delicate chains to more expressive designs, each piece is made in Spain with longevity in mind.

Layer delicate chains, symbolic pendants and sculptural forms inspired by nature and ancient cultures. Alhaja’s necklaces combine Spanish craftsmanship with a sense of history, creating pieces that feel equally at home with a white shirt or bare skin in the summer sun.

Bold yet organic, Alhaja’s cuffs are inspired by the shapes, textures and treasures of the Mediterranean. Designed to make a quiet statement, they bring together sculptural design and Spanish craftsmanship in pieces made to last beyond a season.

Founded by sisters María and Irene, Alhaja grew from more than 15 years of shared experience in fashion and design into their own creative project. Rooted in their Spanish heritage, they draw inspiration from nature, ancient cultures, folklore, travel and the jewellery passed down by their grandmothers.

More than 90% of their pieces are made in Spain, using 18k gold plating or 925 sterling silver, with a focus on traceable materials, responsible production and timeless design.
